Guest Ratings & Reviews
My stay at this hotel was simply unforgettable. The rooms, located at the end of the hallway and boasting windows and balconies on two sides overlooking the city wall and countryside, were cozy with lovely shutter windows and balcony views. The bathrooms were small but adequate. The service was top-notch, with the staff being very helpful and even kind enough to watch our luggage after we checked out. The location was truly the highlight, making it easy to explore the town and Basilica of St Francis. However, there were missed opportunities with the dining experience, as the breakfast was ordinary. The facilities were good overall, enhancing my overall experience.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were clean with tiled floors and quilts for bedcovers, although they were small, they were bigger than many European hotel rooms. The service was sweet overall, but there was a concerning incident with a rude staff member. The location compensated for the room size, being at the bottom of the hill and close to the basilica and tourist shops. The dining was a bit of a letdown with stale pastries and old lunch meat. The facilities offered were decent.
